You don't need to bring anything. Of course, you can bring anything that will make you feel more comfortable, whether that's snacks, a comfort item, or an emotional support water bottle. Wear something comfortable! There's no dress code here, and your practitioner will be comfy too.
A Certified Canadian Counsellor has a Master's degree and is certified to practice counselling across Canada.
A provisional psychologist holds their Master's degree, and is undergoing supervision while in the process to become a registered psychologist. Can only practice in AB.
A registered psychologist has met all conditions required by the College of Alberta Psychologists and no longer requires supervision. Can only practice in AB.
A psychiatrist is a medical professional that specializes in mental health and is able to prescribe medications.
If your child needs help to regulate their emotions, is displaying behaviour differently than normal, or has experienced something traumatic, the safe space of counselling can be incredibly beneficial. Whether you're looking for your child to have another supportive adult in their life, a safe space to be themselves, or just want to get them comfortable talking about their mental health, our child therapists can help.
Both virtual and in-person therapy have been found to be equally helpful. If you do not live close to the clinic, have a tight schedule, or simply feel more comfortable in your own home, virtual sessions may feel most right for you. Our warm space provides snacks, drinks, and quiet, private rooms if you would prefer to do in-person, we would love to see you!
Our services are priced anywhere from $180-$225. We are able to direct bill to most insurance plans, and offer siding-scale options for those who need.
